FTA’s Transit Workforce Center Launches the Apprenticeship Transit Training Innovators Network (ATTAIN)

FTA’s Transit Workforce Center recently launched the American Transit Training Apprenticeship Innovators Network, or ATTAIN initiative, to focus on developing apprenticeships for frontline positions.

Transit agencies interested in starting or expanding an apprenticeship program will connect with transit leaders running successful programs and advance their efforts to bring in new talent. Any transit agency with an interest in starting an apprenticeship or already have experience offering apprenticeships can join.

The ATTAIN initiative advances the goals of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law by helping create good-paying union jobs and supporting economic growth.
